  • Popular culture, arts, entertainment, and consumerism (mostly from the US) spread throughout the world

    • Many American companies (McDonalds, Burger King, Domino's, CocaCola, etc.) have spread their influence throughout the world

    • In contrast, not many foreign companies have a significant influence in the US

    • American music has also spread throughout the world

      • Latin American music has also become really popular​

    • Many people preferred local companies instead of American companies

      • Facebook is banned in China, so China has its own social media company called Weibo​
